The Commercial Vehicle show is delighted to welcome Land Rover to the event for 2021, as anticipation for the Show builds with less than eight weeks until doors open at the NEC in Birmingham from 31 August.

Land Rover now has its widest range of 4x4 commercial vehicle models following the introduction of Defender 90 and 110 Hardtop variants at the end of 2020. Complementing the Discovery Commercial model, the 2021 Commercial Vehicle Show offers an ideal opportunity to build awareness and showcase Land Rover’s full range of rugged commercial vehicles.

Indeed, Land Rover’s rugged and durable vehicles lend themselves seamlessly to a number of fleet verticals, not least in farming, search and rescue and emergency services. Furthermore, the West Midlands region has been home to the Land Rover brand for more than 70 years. With such valued ties to the local and global economy, the influence of this long-standing British icon has seen investment in the area to the tune of £1.5 billion and is undoubtedly one of the UK’s biggest manufacturing success stories.

“Land Rover is looking forward to returning to the Commercial Vehicle Show, enabling the brand to showcase its full range of highly capable Commercial Vehicles,” said Andrew Jago, General Manager, Fleet & Business Jaguar Land Rover UK.

“The event provides an ideal platform to meet with new and existing customers in a face-to-face environment.”

Despite the adversity of the last 18 months, the commercial vehicle industry has flourished in many ways – not least, receiving hard-won acknowledgement for the crucial role road transportation plays in the UK’s supply chain for every single vertical on a national platform.

The 2021 Commercial Vehicle Show will be an important milestone in bringing the road transport industry together as the UK reopens. The late-summer date for this year’s Show has been warmly welcomed by the road transport industry, allowing visitors and exhibitors to get together in confidence. For the first time in more than two years, fleet managers, business owners and road transport operators can network and do business face-to-face.

In addition to exhibitors from right across the road transport sector and supply chain, this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show will also feature a comprehensive programme of live theatre discussions on the industry’s megatrends across the three days of the Show.

Murray Ellis, Show Director, said: “We are delighted that Land Rover has chosen to exhibit at the 2021 Commercial Vehicle Show and in doing so joins an already comprehensive line-up of exhibitors and brands.

“Great business decisions start with a conversation, and there’s no better place to start those conversations than at the Commercial Vehicle Show.”
