With the theme of safety taking centre stage, the upcoming show promises to be a pivotal event for operators and manufacturers in the commercial vehicle industry.

In recent years, the commercial vehicle sector has witnessed a remarkable improvement in safety outcomes, thanks to a collective commitment to safety-conscious vehicle design, aftermarket technologies, and driver training. According to data from the Department for Transport, collision rates for vans and trucks have seen a significant decline over the past decade. Today's light commercial vehicles, LGV, are 27% less likely to be involved in a collision per billion miles travelled compared to a decade ago, while heavy goods vehicle, HGV, collision rates have more than halved.

Last year's show attracted over 12,000 visitors with fleet buying authority from across Britain . Attendees had the opportunity to explore cutting-edge technology integrated into the latest heavy goods vehicles and light commercial vehicles presented by some of the world's largest vehicle brands. More than 100 vendors showcased essential safety-supporting products, including cameras, reversing aids, telematics, braking, and tire management systems, all designed to maximize safe operations.
