Portable toilet supplier John Anderson Hire has taken delivery of its first Isuzu trucks, two 6.5-tonne rigids, which have gone into operation distributing toilets to major events.
Supplied by dealer Arlesey Car & Commercials, the St Albans-based operator’s new additions are both N65.150 LWB models specified with dropside bodies
The main drawbar body of the rigid is used for carrying the maximum number of single toilet units, while the Isuzu can also tow any of the company’s larger multiple-cubicle units, reducing the number of site visits required.
“The new Isuzus allow us to deliver to our customers far more economically and efficiently, in terms of the number of portable toilets that can be delivered to site by any one driver,” says David Callé, general manager, John Anderson Hire.
“We are really pleased with the overall performance of the Isuzus since they joined the fleet and we will look to run them for between three and five years.”
