The Corporate Partner scheme, which currently has around 60 members, was developed to provide mutually beneficial relationships between the Society and organisations who share our ethos of safety, standards and best-practice in operations engineering. Today, we give you 3 reasons why you should partner with us and why our scheme is so unique.

Preferential membership and registration opportunities

A great benefit about becoming a Corporate Partner of SOE is no application fee and discounted rates on membership, as well as reduced application fees for Professional Registrations. Your employees can register as Engineering Technician (EngTech), Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng). We are also a member of the Society for the Environment (SocEnv) and can award the Chartered Environmentalist qualification (CEnv) to suitably-qualified SOE members. Professional Registration will help benchmark your staff qualification and improve the skills they already have. Moreover, it is beneficial to members employed outside the UK as it is recognised internationally.

Accreditation of your CPD

It ensures that you improve the skills you need to deliver a professional service to your customers. By becoming a Corporate Partner of SOE, you get accreditation of your CPD and Training schemes.

Workshops and other technical events are essential because they allow professional socialisation and personal support to facilitate success and high standards. Our 17000 members are at the forefront of this, and each of them is an expert in their own SOE Professional Sector, whether their specialism is Road Transport, Plant or Engineer Surveying.

More networking and growth opportunities

The scheme also opens up marketing, business growth and networking opportunities for companies who wish to grow their presence with SOE member firms. It is quite unique as combines the benefits of SOE’s long-running Industry and Academic Partner programmes into a great package. Our goal is to help your organisation reach the quality of standard that you need to satisfy your existing clients and more importantly get more in your portfolio.

“I looked at SOE and I could see a real affinity with the engineering organisation here at M&S and, although we approached a couple of associations, we met with SOE and were easily able to articulate what I want to do with the engineering organisation, and what SOE could do in return,” said Nigel Cook, M&S Head of Engineering & Facilities.
