Gate Safe is a charity set up in 2010 whose mission is simple, to prevent any further accidents by:
- educating the various professionals associated with the sector on the importance of automated gate / barrier safety (as well as homeowners)
- the delivery of specialist training to grow the Gate Safe Register, providing access to suitably trained and competent installers who have successfully completed the Gate Safe training course.
The guide represents a comprehensive reference source for operatives involved in the inspection of an automated gate or barriers, detailing the protocols required to ensure a safe and compliant installation. Also included are the essential maintenance schedules which should be adopted and the correct handover / maintenance documentation that must be evidenced.
