The SOUTH WESTERN CENTRE's fifty-first AGM was held at Exeter's GVTS at the end of April - in an oversubscribed event. Though the AGM re-elected its existing committee, the post of Hon Secretary was vacant following Tony Wood's retirement after 18 years loyal service. His replacement, Chris Olive, gave a short speech thanking Tony for his efforts in contributing greatly to the success the Centre has enjoyed.

Members and guests of the SOUTH WESTERN CENTRE celebrated the fiftieth year of the CentreÂs activities in appropriate fashion on 12 September, with an enjoyable visit to Otter Brewery, tucked away in DevonÂs Blackdown Hills.
