Guests enjoyed an enlightening visit to Toyota's engine plant, near Chester, where they received a presentation on the history of the manufacturing giant, as well an outline on the many processes involved in the modern plant.

Members from the Border centre followed their recent visit to the Pirelli car tyre factory in Carlisle with this interesting lecture from the company. Delegates benefitted from the experience and knowledge of four of PirelliÂs senior members of staff, including World Marketing Director Stefano Gardini, who was visiting from Italy.
