Industry Partners
SOE is a professional membership organisation that represents more than 18,000 individuals and companies in the engineering industry.SOE represents the Professional Sectors IRTE, IPlantE and BES (see Represented Sectors). Whilst SOE has a collective and central role for its members, each of the Professional Sectors remains dedicated to developing the skills of its members in their specialist areas of activity.
Company membership
SOE has established the Industry Partners Scheme to develop a mutually beneficial relationship between companies and the Society.A bespoke relationship
SOE’s relationship with its Industry Partners, and between the Partners themselves, is individual, flexible and dynamic depending on what each party seeks to contribute or gain. SOE is keen to enter into dialogue with its Partners to help them get the most out of their membership.Who should join?
SOE welcomes applications for membership from companies, large or small, involved in road transport or plant engineering, engineer surveying or those working within the sphere of operations engineering. The Society’s aims, which include education and training, professional standards and safety and best practice, benefit not just individual members and affiliated companies but the engineering industry as a whole.
