Engineer Surveyor Award

Aimed at highlighting the important role of the Engineer Surveyor in promoting safety in the workplace, this BES Engineer Surveyor Award will go to the member of BES who best demonstrates a professional approach to their operation at the top end of the market.

Entries will be judged by SOE staff and members of the BES Professional Sector Council. The winning Engineer Surveyor will receive £500 worth of continuing professional development (CPD) sponsorship and be invited to the SOE annual lunch in London with an opportunity to network with industry professionals.

Andy Forsyth IEng MSOE MBES

Andy has been an Engineer Surveyor for over thirty years. Throughout his career he has taken an extremely professional approach to working with customers and plant operators. An approved trainer for many years, which enables him to pass on the exemplary standards to which he operates, Andy is a credit to his business and the wider inspection industry.

Peter Cairns MSOE MIPlantE

Peter joined British Engineering Services in 2015. He has great enthusiasm for the role, combined with technical ability and commercial awareness and is intent in sharing his knowledge with others.

Gary Chapple IEng MSOE MBES was presented with this year’s BES Engineer Surveyor of the Year Award, which highlights the important role of the engineer surveyor in promoting safety in the workplace.
