Limited places left for SocEnv webinars

21st Feb 2018

Beginning this February, SocEnv will be holding a series of webinars for aspiring Chartered Environmentalists (CEnv).

Registrations are now open for places, which each have a maximum capacity of 100 participants, although with 70 places already taken for the first webinar, interested parties are advised to apply now.

Phil Underwood, Marketing Executive at SocEnv, said: “We want to provide an interactive opportunity for aspiring Chartered Environmentalists to learn and ask questions. We want to do this in an environmentally friendly way; one which does not encourage too much travel.”

The first seminar, ‘Showcase Your Expertise – How to Become a Chartered Environmentalist’ will be delivered by Geoff Atkins, Head of Licensing, Registration and Standards at SocEnv, on February 27, and will cover the application criteria, the assessment process and the route to registration.

Phil continued: “It would be advisable to register now if you have interest in becoming a CEnv as places are being taken very quickly. You will learn from CEnvs what they have done, why they have done it and why they would recommend their status to their peers, or to others in different sectors.”

The second of four seminars, ‘CEnv Insight – Why Become a Chartered Environmentalist’ will be held on March 20, by Nigel Sagar Senior Environmental Compliance Manager, Skanska (Sustainability and Green Support) and Laura Mayhew-Manchón, Senior Environmental Advisor, Skanska UK (Facility Management).
