West London students engineering gong

On 11 June, IRTE West London/Chiltern IRTE Centre gathered at the Greenford Glaxo SmithKline Sports Club to see Chair Marie Wright present student awards to Kyle Charles and Aaron Davis.

Kyle, employed by bus operator Metroline, was nominated by the College of North West London and is finishing his Level 2 apprenticeship. Aaron is employed by Motorpoint in Hendon, a Bosch Vehicle Service Centre, and was nominated by West Herts College after his dedicated work ethic saw 100% attendance at the college over the past two years. He has now completed the Level 3 Motor Light Vehicle Repair course.

Marie Wright thanked the students and colleges for attending the evening, highlighting the importance of training and qualifications within the industry.

SOE congratulations to both award winners for their significant achievements in engineering.
