This webinar will be presented by Willie Whyte MSOE MIRTE, fleet manager of Aberdeen City Council, an experienced professional with over 40 years of experience working in a large fleet environment, including bus and coach, tanker operations, vehicle inspections, local authority and the crane industry. Willie is currently working on the advancement of alternative fuelled vehicles in EV and Fuel Cell H2 vehicles for Aberdeen City Council.
This presentation will look at how he is implementing electric and hydrogen technology in Aberdeen.
This is a CPD lecture and the learning objectives are:
- How to implement a policy or strategy bringing about the switch to alternative fuelled vehicles
- The importance of having infrastructure in place
- The importance of funding in place
- The importance of systematically funding and evaluating before making the plunge to ensure that vehicles fit operationally
