Nearly forty delegates attended the centre's AGM, which was followed by a presentation on 'road transport, past and present within the region', by centre secretary Neil Mitchell.

Twenty-four members and guests attended the first lecture of 2012, held at the Barton Grange Hotel, Preston, to hear Ashley Webster provide an insight into his employer, Faun Zoeller, which is a leading company in the municipal and waste vehicle industry.
