Cash in on waste strategies at RWM '08 conference

15th Aug 2008

Running alongside the RWM exhibition from 16-18 September, the conference brings together more than 40 industry experts.

Addressing concerns, such as reducing carbon in recycling and integrating energy from waste, the conference should deliver practical advice for all on plant and equipment.

According to the organiser, it will also major on legislation, with expert panels open to questions from the floor. Speakers include: Liz Parkes, head of waste at the Environment Agency, and Jackie Keaney, vice president of the Confederation of European Waste to Energy Plants (CEWEP).

On the show floor, Accelerated Compost will unveil its redesigned Rocket Composter, intended to combat rising raw material costs and simplify the process for new operators.

Meanwhile, Tek-Dry’ Comsort recycling system will also be on show, offering low-impact separation for steel, aluminium, plastic and glass.
