SOE Volunteer of the Year Award

SOE's Volunteer of the Year award celebrates and recognises the hard work of a Volunteer who has shown the greatest commitment and dedication to raising the profile of engineering.

Criteria

  • Open to all volunteers (excluding members of the Trustee Board)
  • Nominations to be made by another member of SOE
  • Entries should include a brief summary of why the nominated volunteer deserves to win the award with specific examples of achievement.

The winner and a guest will be invited to a presentation ceremony at the SOE Lunch to be held on 10 October 2013.

Congratulations to Peter Chidley, honorary secretary of the IRTE Wiltshire Centre, who was named SOE Volunteer of the Year 2012! Peter was awarded this title for his work in sharing knowledge, encouraging apprentices and young engineers, and tireless contribution to the running of the Wiltshire Centre.
