Remember me and saving login details
If your browser does not prompt you to save your login details, this is due to the following reasons:

- The prompt has previously been cancelled.
Depending on which browser you're using, follow the instructions below to allow your browser to remember your login details.
Internet Explorer 7.0 and 8.0 browsers
Go to Tools in the Internet Explorer menu, choose Internet Options. Select the Content tab and click the Auto Complete button and make sure the User names and passwords on forms check box is ticked.

Go to Preferences in the main Firefox menu, select Security and click on the Exceptions button. Find www.soe.org.uk and delete it from the list. Next time you login, Firefox will prompt you to save your login details.

HTML/plain text emails – what’s the difference?
HTML emails let you view images, graphics and links within the email.
Plain text emails contain only words, with no images, graphics or links.
Choose HTML if you:
- Read your email while you are permanently connected to the Internet
- Have a Web based email service such as Hotmail, Yahoo Mail or Google Mail
- Are not sure, but want to give it a try.
Choose plain text if you:
- Read your email while not connected to the Internet
- Have an email client that does not support HTML mail (such as AOL 5).
If you have any further questions please email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 020 7630 6666.
