Careers Advice for Engineers
CPD (or Continuing Professional Development) is the means by which members maintain, improve and broaden their knowledge and skills and develop the personal qualities required in their professional lives.

Committing to CPD is vital if you want to keep your technical skills and competence up to date, but “softer” careers skills, such as time management and CV writing are often forgotten but are also essential to career development.

In order to help our members get the most out of their careers, we have put together a “tool kit” of careers advice which will be added to over time. Use the links below to access career development advice.
