Land speed record lecture

R&D Head, Ken Sprayson, outlined Richard Noble’s role of raising money to build the vehicle, welded together from materials from the Tube Investments Group. Thrust 1 crashed during testing; however, in 1983 a record of 633mph was set. In 1997, Thrust 2 achieved another record of 740mph, which still stands today.
