Joe Cox Memorial Award

The Joe Cox Memorial Award, sponsored by the Brunel Western Regional Group and the Western Traffic Area Maintenance Committee (WTAMC), celebrates and promotes achievements by young people in engineering.

The recipient of the 2009 award was Chris Doxey who is employed by MAN Exeter. The award was presented to Chris at Fry Club, Bristol, on the first meeting of the 2009-10 season. Chris received a cheque for £200 and an inscribed silver plate with a certificate. The Group Chairman James Standerwick and WTAMC Chairman Brian Lomas presented the award.
