Engine longevity focus in Cornwall

16th Dec 2009
Cornwall

In this current recession, many Cornwall Centre members have noticed that customers are seeking ways to prolong the longevity of engines, transmissions and any automotive component. Therefore, members have enquired about suitable additives to satisfy this need and enlisted the help of manufacturer/suppliers.

In October, NanoBoron Ltd, exclusive distributor and promoter in the UK of nanotechnology lubricants called BORPower®, provided a lecture on ‘Cost-effective additives and their contribution to extending vehicle life profitability.’

The presentation was hosted jointly with Roger Dennis from Lorry Logic, who acts as an independent consultant to NanoBoron Ltd, and Mounir Adjrad, Technical Manager at NanoBoron Ltd.

Highlighting different ways operators and individuals can keep their vehicles running for longer, the focus then moved to recent trials performed using BORPower®. These trials resulted in a fuel-saving figure of 10.8% being recorded by the Motor Industry Research Association (MIRA).

NanoBoron Ltd is willing to present to other interested SOE groups. For more information, please visit www.nanoboron.co.uk.
