Kevan Holden from GB Lubricants provided an interesting account of the company, as well as detailing the many supply and technical services they offer within this always topical industry.

The company are blenders and suppliers of lubricants, oils, greases and sprays for commercial vehicle, plant, agricultural, forestry, industrial and passenger car applications.

Holden documented the company’s history, products and processes through a visual and anecdotal presentation, highlighting to delegates the many hurdles that are presented to oil suppliers – which must accommodate a wide variety of customer needs. Product specifications were discussed with regards to both relationships with vehicle and engine manufacturers, as well as significant legislative considerations.

The evening was rounded off with an informative question and answer session, before committee member Peter Wells thanked the speaker for a well-received presentation.
