The Ireland Munster Centre recently held the region's annual Apprentice Awards, recognising the best apprentices in road transport. The awards are presented on a rotational basis and in conjunction with the Cork, Limerick and Waterford Institutes of Technology.

This year saw the Hull & East Yorkshire Centre achieve a couple of firsts. Namely it was the first time the Centre visited a works outside the UK and secondly it was the first time the Centre Chairman had driven the coach.
