2013 PEI Defence Lecture - Lightning II - A next generation capability

The Royal Aeronautical Society is delighted to be hosting the 2013 PEI Defence Lecture which will review the ongoing development of the Lightning II Aircraft (previously known as Joint Combat Aircraft), the UK's first 5th generation 'stealth' fighter.

EEESTA - Deep-Ocean Science, Technology & Conservation

The speakers will describe the technology required to explore the great ocean depths, and will present exciting information about the scientific discoveries of minerals and unique ecosystems. These resources may be needed by mankind, so conservation measures to ensure that the seafloor is protected against any environmental damage from this exploration will also be explored.
