Terms and Conditions of Booking

Event registration
Please register on www.soe.org.uk and book online or download and complete a copy of the event registration form. If booking more than one person on the booking form, you must list all names and contact details for each person you are registering to attend. Forms may be photocopied.

Confirmation of booking
Each delegate that is registered for an event will receive an email confirmation.

Payment
Payment can be made securely by credit or debit card online, by cheque (payable to 'Society of Operations Engineers' and crossed), credit card or invoice (please provide purchase order number). Online payment will be taken at the time of booking (email confirmation will be sent) and for other booking methods full payment is due three days (cleared funds) prior to the event, if booking after this time then payment will be due immediately.

Cancellation of Delegate Attendance
If you have to cancel your attendance one month or more before the date of the event, a full refund will be made. If you cancel less than one month before the event, a refund of 50% will be given. If later than 7 days notice, no refund will be given. If no notice of your cancellation of booking is given, no refund can be offered.

Cancellation of Events
SOE reserves the right to cancel any event. If an event is cancelled, the full fee will be refunded.

Name Substitutions
If a delegate is unable to attend an event, we can accept a named substitute by e-mail to events@soe.org.uk. This is required one week prior to the event.

Delegates with Special Needs
Please inform the SOE Events team of any special needs that you may have in terms of accessibility to the event venue or dietary requirements at the time of booking and we will do all that we can to accommodate your needs.

Co-sponsoring Organisations
Members of co-sponsoring organisations will be admitted at SOE members’ rates.

SOE is not responsible for the views or opinions expressed by individual authors or speakers at any of its events.

Joining instructions
Each delegate who has registered to attend an event will receive joining instructions two weeks prior to the event. These will include a map and directions to the venue and details of the location within the venue where the event will be taking place.
