Engineering Council
Engineering Council registration through the SOE
One of the most valued benefits of SOE membership is that members can gain registration with the Engineering Council.
Engineering Council regulates the engineering profession in the UK and represents the interests of UK engineers abroad.
Engineering Council registration is an additional opportunity to gain professional recognition in your industry and the wider engineering community. Becoming registered can advance your career by helping you to prove your skills, experience and expertise at work. Registration is also beneficial to members employed outside the UK as it is recognised internationally.
SOE can offer its members registration at all three levels:
When you become registered you can use the appropriate post-nominal letters alongside your SOE post-nominals on your CV, business cards and job applications.
The level at which you can register will depend on your qualifications and experience. If you are interested in registration, please contact Claire Collins, Professional Standards Co-ordinator via email on registration@soe.org.uk or on 020 7630 2162, who will be happy to help you take your membership to the next level.
